Heinmiller Lectures in Spiritual Formation

On February 4-5, 2024, NTS is offering the Heinmiller Lectures in Spiritual Formation with Dr. Steve Porter. Dr. Porter serves as the Senior Research Fellow and Executive Director of Westmont College’s Martin Institute for Christianity and Culture, as well as Affiliate Professor of Theology and Spiritual Formation at Biola University. He received his PhD in philosophy from the University of Southern California. Dr. Porter studied under Dallas Willard, a noted expert on spiritual formation.

The lecture series is entitled, “Approaching Sanctity,” and will only be offered to an online audience.

Lecture 1: The Reality and Value of Christian Sanctity

Lecture 2: The Role and Disappearance of Knowledge of Christian Sanctification
Monday, February 5, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Central Time)
Optional breakout groups: 3:00 to 4:00 pm

Lecture 3: The Role of Knowledge in Internalizing the Love of God
Monday, February 5, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Central Time)
Optional breakout groups: 7:00 to 8:00 pm
