Dr. Norman Wirza will present the Grider-Winget Lectures on Theology at Nazarene Theological Seminary on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Dr. Wirba is a noted author and has published several books, including Love’s Braided Dance: Hope in a Time of Crisis, The Paradise of God: Renewing Religion in an Ecological Age, and Making Peace with the Land: God’s Call to Reconcile with Creation.

He is a scholar who teaches and writes about the deep connection between ecological and environmental issues and the Christian faith. His work is both theologically rich and firmly rooted in biblical teachings, highlighting their importance for everyone,” reported Dr. Josh Sweeden, Professor of Church and Society.
Lecture Schedule with Dr. Norman Wirzba:
The lectureship is named in honor of Dr. J. Kenneth Grider and Dr. Wilfred Winger and seeks to bring to NTS outstanding guest theologians who are representative of the theological heritage and mission of NTS.
The lectures will take place at Nazarene Theological Seminary. Registration information will be provided at a later date.
