Artist and NTS alumnus Brian Timmer was commissioned by a generous donor to paint a beautiful Kansas thunderstorm during the 2018 Hugh C. Benner Preachers Conference at NTS.
In January 2019, the original painting was hung outside the president’s office. The plaque reads as follows:

Commissioned by the NTS Center for Pastoral Leadership as a part of the Hugh C. Benner Preacher’s conference, “Preaching Hope in Troubled times,” October 2018.
The artist has made limited edition signed prints of the piece, Hope in Troubled Times, available for purchase on his website. 50% of profits from print sales will be given back to NTS to support students!
