On October 1, 2019, Dr. Wendell Bowes, Professor emeritus of Old Testament, NNU, and his wife, Ginger, gifted a collection of pottery to NTS from Iron Age II Palestine (during the Israelite monarchy). The Bowes’ generous gift was gratefully received on behalf of the seminary by Dr. Roger Hahn (Professor of New Testament), Dr. Jennifer Matheny (Assistant Professor of Old Testament) and Debra Bradshaw (Associate Professor of Theological Bibliography & Director of Library Services). The collection includes thirteen beautiful items, and plans are underway to display these items at the seminary for all to see and appreciate.
