The Nazarene Theological Seminary community joins family and friends in mourning the recent passing of Dr. Charles Briscoe. Dr. Jeren Rowell reflects: “Nazarene Theological Seminary remembers with gratitude the influence of Dr. Charles J. Briscoe on our school. Dr. Briscoe was a member of our learning community and a constant supporter of our witness and work in South Kansas City. Personally, I met Pastor Briscoe when I moved to the area in 1991. As a young pastor, my life and ministry were impacted by his model and his teaching. Brother Charles always extended warm hospitality and kindness to me and received me as a partner in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We offer our prayerful support to the Briscoe family and our enduring pride that Charles J. Briscoe is counted among the NTS alumni.”
