MYNTSPOST

August 2, 2021

NTS has partnered with Path (previously Campus.app) to develop and launch myNTS, a new app designed to enhance the NTS community experience. With a significant percentage of seminarians taking courses from a distance, the new app will provide a way for students, faculty, and staff to more easily access the various tools they need for learning, research, and student services, all from one online location.

The social-media-inspired interface will allow students and staff to connect with one another based on geographic location, interests, and degree program, adding a deeper sense of community to the seminary experience. It will also bring the essential tools students use most, like Zoom, Moodle, Microsoft, and more, into a single, convenient online portal. Once logged in, students will be able to register for classes, submit an assignment, initiate a video chat with a professor or fellow student, see their student records, or attend an event, all from the app.

“The new myNTS app will make it easier for students to engage NTS in a more streamlined and user-friendly way,” said Dr. Stephen Porter, Director of Instructional Technology and Director of Information Technology. “The myNTS app will put all of the student services in one place under one login and make the NTS experience seamless from the first class to graduation.”

The myNTS app will launch the first week of August and will be accessible from a web browser on any device or through the native app, which can be downloaded from the Apple and Android app stores. Basic services will be available immediately and increased functionality will be added over time. For questions about myNTS, contact ITDepartment@nts.edu.
