NTS is pleased to announce that Rev. Dana Preusch will serve as the new Director of Contextual Education and Student Life. This is a new position designed to enhance student support and theological/ministerial integration. Dana will provide oversight of contextual education programming and will lead efforts to better support students through vocational discernment, professional coaching/mentoring, advocacy, and social and formational activities.

“We want to ensure students have a deep sense of belonging to the NTS community and Dana will be uniquely positioned to help us continue to advance this work together,” said Dean of the Faculty Dr. Josh Sweeden. “Students who know Rev. Preusch know that she is exceptionally suited for this role. Her passions and expertise make her a vital resource and connection for our students.”

Dana first joined the NTS staff in 2014 as director of the Center for Pastoral Leadership. She assumed additional leadership of Alumni Relations in 2017. Dana will begin the transition from her current responsibilities in August and assume full leadership of her new role after the Fall 2020 preaching event in October.
