I have journeyed an unconventional path in ministry that has led to a lifetime of experiences within small and large nonprofit settings. God gave me the desire of my heart when Harold Raser and Ed Robinson led me to my first internship at a local nonprofit in KCK while I was at NTS more than 30 years ago and I've never looked back. My hope is that I could come alongside someone to continue to learn from them and vis versa.Impactful Books
- The Return of the Prodigal by Henri Nouwen - the book came at an important time in my life and played a significant role in healing.
-Beating the Midas Curse by Rod Zeeb and Perry Cochell - this book propelled me into a deeper understanding of legacy.
- A Black Theology of Liberation by James Cone - this book has stuck with me for decades. It offered an indictment of white theology and society and introduced me to a radical reappraisal of the Christian message that is just a relevant today as it was 50 years ago when it was written.
