Mission Statement

The mission of Nazarene Theological Seminary (NTS), a graduate school of theology in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition, is to prepare women and men to be faithful and effective ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to offer itself as a theological resource in service to the Church of the Nazarene, its sponsoring denomination, and the wider Christian Church.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Nazarene Theological Seminary's Annual Security Report is available here. This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Nazarene Theological Seminary; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault, emergency notification and evacuation procedures, missing person procedures, and fire safety information. you may obtain a print copy of this report by requesting it from the financial Aid office at Nazarene Theological Seminary.
