Church in Color: Addressing Racial Identity and Racism with Children and Youth

November 12, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Church in Color-Header

NTS is pleased to partner with Youthfront in offering this virtual event featuring Dr. Montague Williams, Dr. Monetta Bailey, Rev. Melissa Peters, and Jason Flewellen. Registration is complimentary, thanks to the Latham Fund for the Church’s Ministry to Early Childhood at Nazarene Theological Seminary. The series was created in honor of Joy and Mary Latham, long-time participants in discipleship education for the Nazarene denomination. It is designed to help clergy and other Christian workers understand the importance of the first few years in relation to the later life of the individual, to discover how foundations of faith are laid in these years, and to plan ways to enlist and equip local church laity for ministry to and with young children.
