Advent greetings from Nazarene Theological Seminary.
It was my privilege to preach recently in my home church and to tell once again the glad story of our redemption in Christ Jesus. As you know, Advent calls us to remember not only the birth of our Lord, but also the anticipation of his coming again. The early church expressed this hope in the word, “Maranatha!” The Aramaic word can carry both declaration, “Our Lord has come!” and invocation, “Come, Lord Jesus!”
Our task at NTS is to help prepare those whom God calls to be proclaimers of this good news and joyful hope. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to be involved in this work and to become acquainted with the inspiring stories of those who are responding to God’s call. NTS exists in service to the Church. This is why we are so deeply grateful for the prayerful partnership and support of people like you who understand the importance of theological education for our pastors and leaders.
As we come to the end of this calendar year, I would be so grateful if you would remember our Seminary as you plan your year-end giving. You can give here or by check, IRA transfer, stock transfer and more. Our Advancement Department is ready to assist at 816-268-5430.

The peace of our Lord,
