Every year since 1945, a graduating senior has been selected by the faculty to represent NTS, and his or her graduating class, by preaching the Corlett Senior Sermon at the Graduate Chapel the weekend of Commencement. The selected preacher is also gifted with a cash prize and recognition.
If you would like to participate in this year’s sermon series, please submit an original expository sermon (approximately 20 minutes in length) to Melinda Morgan ([email protected]) by January 20, 2023. Each participant should submit both their written manuscript as well as a video recording of their presentation. The sermon may be one that was prepared previously for a class assignment or local ministry context; it must, however, be your original work. Videos may be sent as video files or web links.
The Corlett Committee will select up to three finalists to be reviewed by the full faculty this spring. All three finalists will be recognized at the Graduate Chapel on Friday, April 28.
