A Faithful Teacher…

NTS honors Dr. Roger Hahn who served as Professor of New Testament for 26 years. Dr. Hahn held the Willard H. Taylor Chair in Biblical Theology, served as Director of the Master of Divinity program, and served as Dean of the Faculty for 15 years. Roger’s tenure at NTS spans three generations of faculty, thousands of students, and a multitude of curriculum changes and program innovations. As Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hahn executed the work of academic and administrative leadership, and he served as a stabilizing force for NTS internally and in the view of the Church of the Nazarene during a period of disruptive transitions. Roger is not only an outstanding scholar and effective teacher, he is also an anointed preacher and faithful pastor. We are thankful to God for the life and ministry of Roger Hahn.
