Urban Ministries Certificate

The Certificate in Urban Ministry provides focused preparation for students in or envisioning ministry in urban (usually cross-cultural) contexts.

The Certificate requires 13 semester hours of coursework combining theological and intercultural scholarship from a Wesleyan/Holiness perspective with a specific goal of ministry in an urban setting. The coursework includes: ICS510 Congregational Mission, either ICS521 or 522 Intercultural Studies Practicum, two 3 hour URB courses, and a 3 hour MSS course selected in consultation with the MAICS Degree Director.
