Job Description:
This summer, spend 8 weeks with the students at the Kansas City Urban Youth Center. Participate in the daily planning at the KCUYC, and spend time getting to know and investing in the lives of 1st graders through 12th graders from the Urban Core of Kansas City. The internship would begin June 14th and go through August 6th. The daily schedule varies but goes from 7:30 am until 6pm. You can choose to focus on academic improvement in the mornings or recreation and the arts in the afternoon.
