NTS Hosts Dr. Gilbert Rendle for Darden McGraw Lectures

On Feb. 17-19, NTS hosted Dr. Gilbert Rendle for the Darden McGraw Lectures on Parish Ministry. Dr. Rendle is a senior consultant at The Alban Institute. On Feb. 17, Dr. Rendle gave a message called, "Our Particular Wilderness: The Changed Landscape of Ministry." Dr. Rendle's lecture on Feb. 18 was entitled, "When Moses and Aaron are One: Leadership and Management." Dr. Rendle delivered his third sermon on Feb. 19 called, "The Curious Call of Moses to Pay Attention."

The Darden McGraw Lectures were merged and established to encourage the appropriate integration of the theological foundation of ministry with the competent practices of
pastoral leadership in the parish. Darden Lecturers usually are experienced ministers who model this integration as pastors, scholars, teachers, and authors. The lecture series honors Walter J. and Fronia Darden, and Dr. W. D. McGraw, Sr.

Free audio of Dr. Rendle's lectures may be accessed at http://www.nts.edu/chapel or through the NTS Chapel Podcast on iTunes.
