In order to keep an active NTS presence on Nazarene districts across the USA and Canada, NTS is appointing NTS Ambassadors for each district. Our hope is that Ambassadors would serve for the length of at least one year and assist the NTS Alumni Office with the following:
- Each year, Ambassadors will be asked to make personal contact (phone calls, e-mails and/or letters) with pastors of local churches on their district, reminding them of the annual Seminary Offering and asking them to "pass the plate" and take an offering for NTS on Seminary Offering Sunday or another Sunday in the year, or include NTS in their annual budgeting process.
- At their District Assembly, Ambassadors will be asked to bring greetings on behalf of NTS and call attention to the NTS materials included in delegate packets (NTS will provide these to district offices in advance).
