NTS Student Receives 2012 Stewardship Sermon Scholarship

Stewardship Ministries announced that NTS student, Chad Laughrey, has been selected as one of their 2012 Stewardship Sermon Scholarship winners. His $1,000 scholarship award will be credited to his 2012-2013 school year tuition payment.

Laughrey submitted a sermon titled Giving Matters to God. The sermon scholarship contest guidelines requested that students use Malachi 3:10 to explore holiness as it relates to tithing and living generously, while addressing money as it relates to funding the mission of the Church. According to Stewardship Ministries, Chad successfully fulfilled these requirements and was able to keep his sermon both relevant and motivating.  Stewardship Ministries has established this award as an annual scholarship.
