THE ROAD TO
GRADUATE THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION
KEEPS GETTING SHORTER

With a 76-hour curriculum and 4 multi-campus seminary locations, the NTS Master of Divinity Degree is now MORE accessible, MORE flexible and MORE affordable than before.

Through a combination of on-campus and online courses, YOU can earn the NTS Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree at any these locations:

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI
Main Campus of Nazarene Theological Seminary

BETHANY, OKLAHOMA
Campus of Southern Nazarene University

MOUNT VERNON, OHIO
Campus of Mount Vernon University

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
Campus of Trevecca Nazarene University

QUINCY, MASSACHUSETTS
Campus of Eastern Nazarene College*

NTS is now in collaboration with FOUR Nazarene colleges and universities, so that courses for our Master of Divinity degree are now offered on the campuses of Southern Nazarene University, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Trevecca Nazarene University, and Eastern Nazarene College–in addition to our main campus in Kansas City.

One and two-week intensive module courses are now offered at each of these sites, taught by NTS residential faculty and professors on host campuses. These face-to-face classes provide you with routine opportunities to step back from your ministry practice and engage a thoughtful community of peers in a life-giving theological conversation.

Combine these modules with our ever-increasing roster of innovative online course offerings and you’ll be able to complete your MDiv Degree without ever relocating from your current ministry context.

MCS students also have access to our well-resourced theological library in Kansas City.  To request a library card, fill out our online request form; or for more information, contact the library at library@nts.edu or at 800.831.3011, ext. 5471.

*Earlier this year in March, the seminary’s accrediting agency (Association of Theological Schools; ATS) granted approval to NTS to offer the full MDiv degree at the first three multi-campus seminary sites of Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), Southern Nazarene University (SNU), and Trevecca Nazarene University (TNU).  Now that NTS has received approval from the state of Massachusetts to provide education there, NTS will work with ATS in the months ahead to add ENC to the list of approved residential sites. ATS requires that about 1/3 of the required courses for the MDiv be taken in residence. Prior to the March 2012 ruling from ATS which granted residential approval to MVNU, SNU and TNU (in regard to the NTS MDiv), NTS students could only receive residential credit by taking courses offered at the seminary’s main campus in Kansas City. However, now the entire MDiv degree may also be earned at MVNU, SNU or TNU (with ENC anticipated) through a combination of on-campus and online courses.
