Gashland United Methodist Church
Purpose: To coordinate various music groups within the church that provide special music for worship services. Person will direct adult choir with classical and/or contemporary music and organize youth/children’s music groups. There is an opportunity to develop the music program with new ideas and personal creativity.
We’re looking for someone who loves God, has the ability and experience or directing church choirs of various age groups. This person will work closely with the pastor to plan worship along side the media team and worship team, and to lead rehearsals of adult choir on a weekly basis. This is a part-time position with a 6 to 8 week break in the summer.
If you love Christian music and see it as a very important part of bringing people experience Christ in worship and throughout everyday life and has the ability to lead others to learn and perform, we would like to talk with you. We will looking for someone who has experience with directing choirs and teaching music.
