Gashland United Methodist Church
Purpose: To connect church members and visitors to ministry teams and fellowship groups for the purpose of developing meaningful relationships with God and each other and equipping the church body to transform lives. This position requires strong relational skills and the ability to communicate in person, on the phone, e-mail and other internet means. This is a new position with an opportunity to develop new ideas and personal creativity.
We’re looking for someone who loves God, and has the ability to help people navigate through the process of assessment of gifts and graces of individuals and seeking ways to facilitate growth and Christian commitment that will lead to lives transformed through Christ. This person will work closely with the pastor to develop opportunities for a variety of people to be involved in a ministry of the church; helping them find training, funding and materials to accomplish the ministry God is calling them to share. This is a part-time position of about 24 hours per week…with room to grow to full-time in the future.
If you have a desire to see people grow in their faith and have the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of ways, and you are looking for a way to help people experience Christ in their lives everyday, we would like to talk with you.
