By utilizing a combination of intensive two-week modular sessions on the NTS campus, individualized distance education, advanced placement, as well as cross-registration in graduate courses at regional Nazarene colleges, the experienced full-time or bi-vocational pastor/student may fulfill all the MACFD requirements within four years – without having to move or resign their position.
The In-Service MACFD Degree requires planning and self-initiative on the part of the student. Required courses in the education core and general theological core will be offered on a four-year rotating schedule. The program is designed for students in ministry who are unable to leave their current ministry. As such, various requirements within the program will need to be completed in the context of a ministry assignment.
