Rev. Ron Benefiel, Ph.D. (University of Southern California) President – urban pastor, sociologist, mission strategist.; active in the Association of Nazarenes Sociologists and Researchers; continuing research in Theology, Sociology of Religion, the Christian/Wesleyan mission, and Christian perspectives of social justice.
Rev. Dean Blevins, Ph.D. (Claremont School of Theology) Professor of Christian Education – editor of Didache: Faithful Teaching, an online academic journal dedicated to the exploration of faith, culture and higher education within the Church of the Nazarene and other Wesleyan institutions; regular contributor to Christian Education and Youth Ministry journals and the Wesleyan Theological Journal; consultant in clergy education, youth ministry and children's ministry for the Church of the Nazarene.
Rev. Doug Hardy, Ph.D. (Boston University) D. Min. Degree Director, Professor of Spiritual Formation – active in the ministry of Christian spiritual direction; leader in the development of the Society for the Study of Psychology and Wesleyan Theology; writing and program development focuses on articulating a Wesleyan spirituality and Wesleyan approaches to interpersonal and communal spiritual guidance.
Rev. K. Steve McCormick, Ph.D. (Drew University) Professor of Historical Theology – a regular participant at the Oxford Institute for Methodist Theological Studies and co-Chair of the Wesleyan Studies Group of the American Academy of Religion; research and writing focuses on the doctrine of the Trinity, Ecclesiology and Holiness; ongoing ecumenical work with the Orthodox and Methodists in the area of Wesleyan spirituality.
Rev. Judi Schwanz, Ph.D. (Portland State University) Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling – Director of the Wynkoop Center for Women in Ministry; active in the Society for the Study of Psychology and Wesleyan Theology and Wesleyan Holiness Women Clergy, International; retreat work and writing focuses on clergy self-care and congregational health.
