Church Planting Certificate
The Certificate in Church Planting provides both classroom instruction and experience in church planting. It introduces students to diverse models and methodologies of church planting and places students in responsible roles under the supervision of experienced church planters.
The Certificate in Church Planting requires 14 semester hours of coursework including EVG565 Starting Strong, New Churches; MSS/URB651 Immersion in a Church Plant; and 9 semester hours of coursework in Evangelism, Missions, Urban Studies, and/or Christian Education in consultation with the MDiv Degree Director. Students should note particular requirements of MSS/URB651.
