Master of Arts in Christian Formation and Discipleship Degree
The Master of Arts Degree in Christian Formation and Discipleship (MACFD) provides resources in faithful spiritual formation and discipleship for those entering ministry, as well as specialized study for practitioners seeking to expand their abilities in educational ministry.
As a research component in practical theology, the program seeks to integrate specialized study with theological reflection. As a professional degree leading to ministry practice, the program provides both foundational ministry education (in conjunction with the MACFD Diploma for Diaconal Ministry) with specialized age-level or family based ministry.
Dr. Dean Blevins, Director of the MACFD program, shares an overview of the Master of Arts in Christian Formation and Disciplship.
