The NTS community commissioned 12 students who are part of the 365M Program in a sending service Thursday morning. These 12 students will soon depart for a year of learning and ministry in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, New Zealand, Kenya, and a country in Asia.

During 365 Days in Mission (365M), each student will earn a Diploma in Cross-Cultural Ministry from NTS. The 365M Program is a collaborative effort among participating universities, Nazarene Theological Seminary, Nazarene Global Mission, and individuals desiring a “hands-on” cross-cultural learning experience.

The program defines an innovative approach to mission education addressing a rapidly changing world. It incorporates unique cross-cultural encounters with specialized seminary education to prepare people for long term ministry either in traditional or non-traditional roles. Through this approach, NTS seeks to expose students to integrated learning in a cross-cultural setting in which the world becomes the classroom.

365M is a combination of online courses, face-to-face seminars at NTS with missiologists and mission leaders, and on-the-ground mentoring with missionaries and local leaders who work alongside students to make the mission practice in a cross-cultural setting a learning experience.
