As the Fall 2011 semester began, the NTS community was pleased to have a sending service to commission the second cohort of 12 students who are now ministering and learning in 6 countries around the world: Ireland, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, New Zealand, Kenya, and a country in Asia.

365M - 365 DAYS IN MISSION - is designed to increase students’ global awareness and engagement. The unique program allows students to spend 9 months in a cross-cultural environment under the supervision of trained theological, formational, and cultural mentors. Prior to and immediately following the cross-cultural immersion, students will complete coursework on the NTS Kansas City Campus. At the conclusion of the program, students will have completed 24 credit hours, earning a Diploma in Cross-Cultural Ministry.

365M defines an innovative approach to mission education, addressing a rapidly changing world. It incorporates unique cross-cultural encounters with specialized seminary education to prepare people for long term ministry—in traditional or non-traditional roles.

MULTI-CAMPUS SEMINARY
THE ROAD TO GRADUATE THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION KEEPS GETTING SHORTER
NAZARENE THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY

Knowing that we can accomplish more together than any of us could accomplish individually, the MULTI-CAMPUS SEMINARY (MCS) combines the resources, knowledge and experience of NTS, together with that of four of our U.S. Nazarene colleges and universities.

Every semester, two 1-week module courses are offered at each MCS site. Classes are taught by NTS residential faculty as well as faculty from the host campus. These face-to-face courses provide students with regular opportunities to step back and engage a thoughtful community of peers in life-giving theological conversations.

By combining these module courses with our ever-increasing roster of innovative online course offerings, MCS students can complete the Master of Divinity Degree Program in just a few years—without ever having to relocate.
