Because most of the current NTS facility is dedicated to academic classroom space, there is not a current dedicated location (or ample space) on campus for students to interact and gather. The Journey of Faith Campaign will provide resources to turn the current Nazarene Commons (a gift from our denomination) into a dedicated Student Center. This new Student Center will offer students the opportunity to make the NTS campus a central part of their Seminary experience, generating a stronger sense of community—for the student body as a whole, and for each student individually. The Student Center will include the NTS Bookstore, a coffee shop, wireless internet access, and space for students to meet, eat and study all day and into the evenings.
Soon after classes let out in May, the dedicated NTS Maintenance Staff began work transforming the Nazarene Commons into the NTS Student Center.
